The method of cleaning, used by our system, is called "DRY EXTRACTION". this is, because very little moisture is used and the moisture levels are controlled at all times.

This differs from the method called "WET EXTRACTION" or "HOT WATER EXTRACTION", which is the most common method used today. Most people refer to this method as "STEAM CLEANING". The method of hot water extraction is very complicated, uses very expensive equipment that requires a large vehicle, and demands intensive ongoing maintenance and repair.

Another variation of the wet extraction method uses portable machines that deliver hot carbonated water. The companies who use that method claim, that the hot carbonation actually lifts dirt from the carpet fibres, and the carpet dries much faster than using "regular" steam cleaners. There is physically absolut no difference when it comes to drying time. Water remains water and a litre of carbonated water dries as slow as a litre of hot tap water. Wet extraction is only as effective as the suction of the equipment that sucks up the water, together with the dirt and that's the common problem with this method. Together with the humidity the dirt remains in the carpet, although it's washed down to the base of the carpet and may not be visible, but it's still there and even if it's nowhere to see, one can smell it or even see it again after the carpet is dry. There is a sensation called the whicker effect, which means, during the drying process, humidity travels up the fibre and takes the dirt with it. Result: After the carpet is dry a lot of stains come back to life.

Our "DRY EXTRACTION" allows the carpet to be used immediately after completion of the process. The cleaning compound will be removed together with the dirt. This results in a thoroughly, deep cleaned and sanitized carpet.
